Zoya Dove Jelly Sandwich

Hi guys! This is the longest I have been away from the nail polish world because I've possibly had the busiest week of my life this week! I'm not complaining though because it was worth it :) I've got some exciting posts coming up next week because I managed to fill 2 of my biggest lemmings. For today, I have Zoya Dove, my first true grey polish and I have no idea why I was so scared of grey all these years.

Zoya Dove is a delicate cement grey creme. This was a two coater and the dry time was exceptionally good. I wore it without top coat and had no tipwear. The reason I didn't use top coat is because I find that Seche Vite reacts badly with Zoya, leaving the polish underneath wet and causing shrinkage. I've heard a lot of people have had issues with SV and Zoya. Which top coat do you like with your Zoya? Maybe I'll have better luck with those.

Zoya Dove

I turned this mani into a jelly sandwich with one layer of Revlon Blu Mosaic, Icing Lemme See Your Peacock, and Wet'n;Wild 2% Milk. I love that I can see the colours of the individual glitters so well!

I think I'm getting pretty adventurous with my jelly sandwiches, considering I only started them a couple of months back. What do you think of the glitter combination in this mani?

  2. I didn't jump on the jelly sandwich train until now, but it's such a fun way to make glitter day time appropriate! And the crazier the better I say!

  4. I love all of the colours of glitter here! This looks awesome! I use the Sally Hansen Insta-Dry top coat in the red bottle with Zoya and it doesn't give me any problems :)

    1. Thanks Jenn!! I hear good things about the SH top coat but I've never found it! Maybe it's available exclusively in the US?
