Royal Blue Jelly Sandwich

I love the effect of jelly sandwiches with the glitter swimming just beneath the surface and adding such depth to a simple manicure. I've never had much luck with layering polishes but I figured I've got to try doing a post on it at least once. For the base, I used Zoya Natty, topped with Essie Set In Stones, over which I used China Glaze Ride The Waves (blue jelly) and finally ended with a swipe of OPI Last Friday Night.

Natty is a blue-grey creme from the Designer Fall 2012 collection. This colour is really out of my comfort zone but I am so glad to have tried it. So chic for fall! The formula was good, opaque in 2 coats. But the most impressive part was how fast it dries! I rarely skip top coat but you can get away with not using one without any trouble.

What do you guys think about the jelly sammich? Yay or nay? Funnily, I think I'm a lot more comfortable with my dotting tools and stamping plates! Thanks for reading :)

    1. Thanks Leah!! I change is every day, but if I really can't, then maybe 2 days at the most.
