Autumn's First Manicure

The season for pumpkin spice lattes, cinnamon, apple pie and trench coats is here! Fall is all about oranges and browns, so I am welcoming my favourite season with three made-for-Fall polishes. The polishes I used are: Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Coco A-Go-Go (base), Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear Pumpkin Spice (glitter), and OPI A Good Man-darin Is Hard To Find (lines).

Coco A-Go-Go is a metallic brown with a copper shimmer base and some scarce multi-coloured glitter. This is a one-coater but I used 2 coats to make the brown deeper. Excellent formula.

Pumpkin Spice is a sheer black base with small orange glitter. This polish is considered somewhat hard to find but I magically found one for less than a dollar at The Ex this year. The effect of this polish is very different in different lighting; the glitter is subtle and sleek in indirect lighting/shade but very va-va-voom and sparkly in direct sunlight.

To make this mani even more fun, I made some orange bands on my nails:

Hope you enjoyed my first day of Fall post! How does everyone feel about moving on from neons and brights to darks? Resisting or embracing?
